We are pleased to announce this year’s grading dates. Please read the information below carefully, as it outlines eligibility, registration details, and grading criteria.
📋 Registration Information
- Registration opens approximately 4 weeks before each grading date
- Registration closes 1 week before the grading
- Late registrations will not be accepted
✅ Grading Eligibility
To be eligible to grade, students must:
- Wear a full, correct uniform
- Hold their current belt
- Have a valid, in-date licence
- Meet the required attendance and capability standards
Please note: Grading selection is based on capability and attendance.
Not every student will grade at every opportunity.
🥋 Grading frequency Guidelines
- Red to Green Belts
- Typically eligible to grade every 3 months, provided attendance and capability meet the required standard

- Green to Brown / Black Stripe
- A minimum of 6 months between gradings, subject to meeting the above criteria

- Black Belt
- Students must have held their current grade for at least 12 months

- Adults (Purple Belt & Above)
- Will grade alongside Juniors & Cadets

- Sunday 22nd – Little Trojans (All Grades)
- Wednesday 25th – Adults Grading

- Wednesday 10th – Ladies Grading
- Saturday 13th – Juniors & Cadets (Red to Brown / Black Stripe)
- Sunday 14th – Little Trojans (All Grades)
- Wednesday 17th – Adults Grading
September
- Wednesday 2nd – Ladies Grading
- Saturday 5th – Juniors & Cadets (Red to Blue Belt)
- Sunday 6th – Little Trojans (All Grades)
